Open Space Trails

My Dad and I have been walking in that open space since I was born. Then one day they hired somebody to tear apart the trails.  It feels like they just destroyed a part of me.

Open space and trails add to the quality of life for all Tahoe residents, including Glenshire residents. Trails are where people of all ages take their morning walks, where runners race by the gorgeous trees, where mountain bikers enjoy the perfect trails, where families take their children on their first hikes. Closure of over 4,000 acres of previously accessible forested space in October 2009 has created a great amount of concern from long-time Glenshire residents. Now, those beloved trails continued to be threatened and part of the debated Canyon Springs development.
