FUELS REDUCTION PROJECTS COMPLETE
The Truckee Fire Protection District has largely completed a fuels reduction project in Canyon Springs, on open spaces tucked within the residences of the greater Glenshire area, and on properties surrounding the eastern portion of Glenshire Drive – see the below maps for specific project areas. This project has provided critical fuel reduction and improved forest health to protect the community of Glenshire and improve the evacuation route to Hirschdale Rd. in the event of a wildfire.
